Agnes Mildred Kobetsky and Donald John Kobetsky, both residents of East Grand Forks, MN, passed away in Mesa, AZ at the age of 94 years. Agnes on February 3, 2021, and Donald on July 12, 2021.

Donald John Kobetsky was born on May 27 ^th , 1927, in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Anton and Alyce (Zavoral) Kobetsky.  Agnes Mildred Kobetsky was born on June 7, 1926, to Emil and Agnes (Gust) Kozel in Keystone Township, MN.

Donald grew up on the family farm near Angus, MN where he farmed his entire life.  On November 17, 1949, Donald and Agnes were united in marriage in Tabor, MN.  They loved their family greatly where most weekends the family would gather at their lake home on Maple Lake, MN.  They loved spending time with all the grandkids and now most recently the great-grandkids.  Donald and Agnes would spend winters in Mesa, AZ.   They loved to entertain their family & friends. Agnes was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed cooking meals, baking everyone's favorite buns for the family, canning, and sewing.  She was also very active in taking care of the farm and would tend to the garden and flowers. Donald's entire life revolved around farming, all the way to the end of his life were conversations of farming.    Donald had a deep compassion for animals, especially dogs.   Donald & Agnes loved to dance.  Music of George Jones and Merle Haggard played daily. There was not a night ending without prayers said together to make the day complete.

Family members who survive Donald and Agnes include their children, Julie (Donald) Halverson, Jon (Jane) Kobetsky, Debra Kobetsky, Richard (Lisa) Kobetsky; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; Donald's brothers: Morsie (Pat) Kobetsky, Kenny (Karen) Kobetsky and Bob (Diane) Kobetsky.  Agne's sister, Ann Lind and Helen Haug.

They were preceded in death by their parents; son Ronald Kobetsky; his brother Bernie Kobetsky; and her seven siblings.
