Alexander Joseph Hart, age 18 of East Grand Forks, MN passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 in East Grand Forks, MN.

Alex was born on September 4, 2004 in Jamestown, ND and lived with his family in Eckelson, ND and Redfield, SD before settling in East Grand Forks, where Alex and his family have been since he was in first grade. Alex was a student at Sacred Heart School. He was a natural athlete that played hockey, baseball, and basketball, but he excelled on the football field. It was clear that football was Alex's sport.

Alex loved music; working out; being outside; fishing; football; exploring nature; good food; going for drives; his friends, girlfriend, and family; and to challenge himself by learning about and exploring the world.

Alex was wise beyond his years and always absorbed and saw the deeper meaning of things. He was a night owl and enjoyed late night runs and early morning movie marathons.  He was uniquely sophisticated and one of a kind. He is truly irreplaceable. 1 of 1. He will always be remembered by those whose lives he touched.

Alex is survived by and will always be loved by his parents, Sarah and Patrick, his sisters Abby and Maddie, and brothers Ben and Charlie. He will also be lovingly remembered by his girlfriend, Sophie Evavold, and grandparents Kathleen Reikowski of Menomonee Falls, WI, and Nathan and Bev Hart of Chaseley, ND, as well as his great grandma, Elizabeth Dockter. He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Joseph Reikowski, as well as his great grandparents Arthur Dockter, Orval and Alyce Hart, Casey and Esther Brzenk, and Jerome and Valeria Reikowski.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Sacred Heart High School Gym, East Grand Forks, MN. Guests are to enter through door #2.
