Alice Goschen, age 82 of East Grand Forks, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Alice Goschen was born April 25, 1940 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Theodore and Bergine (Egeland) Bestland.  She grew up in Bygland, MN and graduated from East Grand Forks Central High School in 1958.  She attended Colorado Women's College.  On May 25, 1962 she was united in marriage to Wayne Goschen at Bygland Lutheran Church.  She worked for the Grand Forks Clinic and then eventually the University of North Dakota Student Health as an Xray Tech until her retirement.  She enjoyed rosemaling, gardening, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Alice is survived by children, Kris (Greg) Roufs of East Grand Forks, MN, Ron (Val) Goschen of Montgomery, MN and Kari (Donavan) Wald of East Grand Forks, MN; 4 grandchildren, Erika and Andrew Roufs both of East Grand Forks, MN, Natalie Wald of Rochester, MN, and Gina Wald of East Grand Forks, MN.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Wayne, and 4 brothers, Ardell, John, Ray and Ronnie.
