Anthony "Tony" Vonasek, 65, of Grand Forks, North Dakota, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

Anthony John Vonasek was born January 3, 1957 in Grand Forks to the late Frank and Nettie (Bohac) Vonasek. He grew up in East Grand Forks and graduated from Sacred Heart High School with the class of 1975. Tony worked at LM Glass Fiber in Grand Forks.

Survivors include his sister, Mary (Gerald) Mozinski of Grand Forks; brother, Don (Bonnie) Vonasek of East Grand Forks; extended family, Miranda, Matt, Tristan, Hunter, and Benjamin; and many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Nettie Vonasek; brother, George (Mary) Vonasek; two infant sisters; and special friend, Sue Seidel.

Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 3rd Street NW, East Grand Forks, Minnesota.

Burial will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Tabor, Minnesota.
