BernaJean "Berni" (Heiser) Larson , age 79, of Lakota, North Dakota, passed away April 2, 2026, in Lakota.

BernaJean Heiser was born March 26, 1947, in Killdeer, North Dakota, to Adam and Elizabeth (Walter) Heiser. She was raised in Belfield and graduated from Belfield High School. She later lived in rural Watford City, North Dakota, and Finley, North Dakota, before meeting Frank and making her home in the Larimore area.

On July 8, 2000, she married Frank Larson in Larimore, North Dakota. Berni worked as a hairdresser. She loved living on the farm near Larimore and caring for the farm animals.

BernaJean was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Larson; her parents, Adam and Elizabeth Heiser; her sister, Sylvia Adams; and her great-grandson, Mason Hodges.

She is survived by three children: Billie Rauser (Devils Lake, North Dakota), Aric Anderson (Savannah, Georgia), and Jason Anderson (Rogers, Minnesota); three grandchildren: Dustin Rauser (Patricia), Mariah Hodges (Matthew), and Dylan Rauser (Lexi); 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and two brothers: George (Denice) Heiser (West Fargo, North Dakota) and Gilbert (Josie) Heiser (Belfield, North Dakota).

VISITATION begins at 11:00AM, with MEMORIAL SERVICE at 12:00PM, on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Renew Church of the Nazarene, 501 East 3rd Street, Larimore, ND 58251.
