Obituary

Bradley Bail, 60, of East Grand Forks, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at North Valley Health Center, of Warren, MN.

Bradley Delmar Bail was born June 4, 1963 in Grand Forks, ND to Delmar W. and Lucille (Ellertson) Bail. He grew up in East Grand Forks and graduated from Senior High School in 1981. Following high school Brad attended UND and earned degrees in both Computer Science and Civil Engineering. Brad grew up working with his dad at Valley Contracting, which gave him a great foundation for his future career.  He began working for Floan Sanders as a Civil Engineer and he was the IT Department. Brad became a partner at Widseth where he worked as a Civil Engineer and Building Official until his passing. On October 5, 2002, Brad married Amy Sorlien in Grand Forks, ND. They made their home in East Grand Forks and are members of Calvary Lutheran Church of Grand Forks. Brad loved his farm near Nevis, MN.  He was in pure joy as he and his tractor drove through the woods and especially looked forward to his week of deer hunting.  He was a true fan of UND hockey, rarely missing a game.  Brads final act of kindness was to provide organs and tissue so others can thrive.

Brad is survived by his wife Amy Bail of East Grand Forks; sisters Debbie (Tom) Nordhaugen of Mesa, AZ and Mary (David) Hanson of Grand Forks; two nieces and three nephews and was preceded in death by his parents Delmar and Lucille Bail.
