Brian T. Milling, 66, of East Grand Forks, MN passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at his home.

Brian Timothy Milling was born March 19, 1956 in Kankakee, IL to Kenneth and Sally (Foster) Milling. He grew up and attended school in Kankakee before entering the US Airforce. After being transferred to the Grand Forks Air Force Base, he met and married Barb Ostlund at Mendenhall Presbyterian Church in East Grand Forks. The two made their home in East Grand Forks and were blessed with five daughters. He served our country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and the Army Reserves.  He worked at the airport for UND Aerospace where he retired from in June of 2021 as an aircraft inspector.  Brian enjoyed watching sprint cars, especially the Outlaws, watching hockey, baseball and softball, especially if his girls or grandkids were playing, and was a member of the East Grand Forks American Legion Post #157. He loved being outside and where he created Camp Milly-wah-ka for his girls in their front yard and loved his furry friend Koda.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Barb Milling; daughters Jamie Milling, Jackie Milling, Jenny Milling, Jess (Trevor) Knudson, and Janelle (Tyson Shade) Milling all of East Grand Forks; sister Deb (Terry) Guimond of Justin, TX; grandchildren Brooke, Taylor, Makayla, Morgan, Tanner, Makenzie, Kyler, Raelee, Kinzer, Khloe, Briar, Kason, Kolton, Brinzley, and Kash; one great-grand child on the way; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth (Kenlyn) Milling, and Sally (Orland) Brock; siblings Greg (Beth) Milling, Kenny Grey, Todd Grey, Scotty Grey, and grandchild baby Milling.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721 with visitation one hour prior. Service will be live-streamed on Brian's page at www.dandahlfuneralhome.com

VISITATION: 5:00-7:00 PM, Friday, September 23, 2022 also at the funeral home with a time of sharing at 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday

MILITARY HONORS: Military Honors will be provided by the US Air Force, the East Grand Forks American Legion Post #157, and VFW Post #3817.
