Carol June Carlson, 83 of Grand Forks, ND died Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at the Edgewood Nursing Center, Grand Forks, ND.

Carol Farstad was born June 6, 1943 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Russell and Alice (Torgerson) Farstad. She grew up in East Grand Forks and graduated from East Grand Forks Central High School in 1961. She married Robert “Andy” Anderson in East Grand Forks, MN on April 27, 1962. In 1974 her and Andy started, owned, and operated Andy’s Harley Davidson in Grand Forks. Robert “Andy” Anderson died on October 12, 1990. She then married Wayne Carlson in East Grand Forks on November 6, 1992.

Carol is survived by her husband, Wayne of Grand Forks, ND; sons, Denny (Peggy) Anderson of St. Cloud, MN, Tony (Linda) Anderson of Grand Forks, James Anderson of Grand Forks, and Casey (Mandy) Anderson of East Grand Forks; stepsons, Wayne Jr. (Gerlyn) Carlson of Fargo, and Erick Carlson of Hollywood, CA; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Andy” Anderson; her parents; brother, Dennis Fartsad; sisters, Mary Ann Elstad and Ellen Hotvedt; and great-grandson, Corbin Britton.

FUNERAL: 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN.

VISITATION: One hour prior to the funeral.

INTERMENT: Memorial Park North Cemetery in Grand Forks, ND.
