Carol Jean Kalis, 72, of East Grand Forks, passed away Sunday June 6, 2021 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks.

Carol Jean Rudlang was born November 2, 1948, in Brainard, MN to the late Henry and Tilla (Halvorson) Rudlang. She grew up and graduated from high school in Pequot Lakes, MN. She then met and married Robert Kalis and they made there home in East Grand Forks. Carol was a manager and several stores before her health prevented her from continuing. She enjoyed bingo, karaoke, but most of all, spending time with her family.

Survivors include sons Jerrod Kalis of East Grand Forks; grandchildren Theodore Amundson, Joey Amundson, and Jace Kalis; 1 great-granddaughter Hadley; and sisters Clarice Tulenchik and Katherine Feakes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Jason Kalis, and several brothers and sisters.

Services will be held at a later time.
