Casey Myron Weekley, age 36, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2018.

Casey was born on August 3, 1981 to Scott & Deb (Kennedy) Weekley. He was born & raised in Grand Forks, ND. He graduated from Central High School. He worked for Weekley Auto Parts, where his father taught him to be a skilled mechanic.

He enjoyed taking trips to the lake with family, or roaming the family salvage yard. Casey was a free spirit, he was content with the simple things in life. Those close to him recognized his kind & gentle soul. His love for animals was undeniable. He was a giver, never able to deny anyone in need of his help. He was good humored & could easily make friends, his charming smile & memorable laugh will be missed by all. His wings were ready, our hearts were not.

He is survived by his parents, father Scott Weekley (Judy); mother Deb Kennedy-Embury (Kevin); sisters Leslie Weekley (Rene') and Jade Embury; nephews, Phynix & Zayden & step-siblings Joseph, Justin & Jennifer.

He was met in heaven by his grandparents, Myron & Betty Weekley, Colleen & Marty Hull & Kenneth Kennedy; his step brother John Lassonde & brother Shale Weekley.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Circle of Friends Humane Society in Grand Forks, ND.
