Charlotte "Charlie" Burket, 78, of Grand Forks, ND died Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at her home.

"Charlie" Charlotte Mae Burket was born April 20, 1941 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of late George and Evelyn (Smith) Miller. She married Steve Burket on March 19, 1985 in Grand Forks, ND. She worked as a barmaid in the Grand Forks area most of her life. Later on she worked at Kmart in Grand Forks and Liberty Lanes of East Grand Forks. She enjoyed staying busy and considered herself a "People" person. The girls at Johnny's referred to her as "Mom".

She is survived by her husband Steve Burket of Grand Forks; daughter Sue Lin (Brad Little) of Colorado Springs, CO; son Brandon (Denise) Burket of Crookston, MN; grandchildren Joe (Frances) Rocha, Derrick Rocha, Tiffany (Chris) Keleher, and Logan Burket; and brother Ronnie (Karen) Miller of Grand Forks, ND. She is preceded in death by her parents, son David Lin, brother Harold Miller, half-brother Don Smith, and granddaughter Ona Amiot.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Relay for Life.

Visitation: 1 hour prior to memorial service on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
