Clayton Lamaack, 88, of Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Valley Senior Living Center, Grand Forks, ND.

Clayton was born April 8, 1933 in Dickerson County, Iowa the son of Albert and Edna (Buchholz) Lamaack.  He grew up in southern MN.  On June 11, 1960 he was united in marriage to LaVerda Peters in Fosston, MN.  They lived in Colorado Springs, CO and in 1994 they moved to East Grand Forks, MN and then back to Fosston in 1997.  In 2010 they returned to East Grand Forks, MN.

Family members who survive Clayton include his children, Lori K. Looney (Mylo Samuelson) of Harker Heights, TX, Brian J. Lamaack of Grand Forks, ND and Julie G. (David) Cochran of Sparta, WI; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brother Arliss (Judy) Lamaack of Windom, MN.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife LaVerda on April 4, 2021.
