Cynthia Marie Wentz, 70, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2023 at Aneta Parkview Health Center in Aneta, ND.

Cynthia was born on March 12, 1956 in Grand Forks, North Dakota, daughter of Edwin and Hannah (O'Neil) Johnson. She grew up in East Grand Forks, Minnesota, graduating from East Grand Forks Senior High School.

On July 31, 1982, Cynthia married Alan Wentz. Together, they raised their four sons. Cynthia was devoted to taking care of their home and children.

In her free time, Cynthia kept herself busy with reading, gardening, and taking care of her plants. She also enjoyed playing cards and bingo. One of her favorite things to do, however, was spending time with her grandchildren, reminiscing and telling stories.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her husband, Alan Wentz; her parents, Edwin and Hannah Johnson; sister Joan Rae Johnson; and brother Donald Johnson.

She is survived by her sons, Corey Wentz, Justin (Megan) Wentz, Kirk (Page) Wentz, and Luke (Alyssa) Wentz; and her grand-children Luca, Ozzy, Naomi, Jonah, Leah, Mason, Paisley, Otto, Theodore, Elliana, Ember, and Elizabeth.
