Darleen Mary Vonasek, 94, of East Grand Forks, MN died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Valley Eldercare, Grand Forks, ND.

Darleen Vonasek was born January 5, 1925 in Warren, MN the daughter of John and Marie (Filipy) Myerchin. She grew up near Warren, MN. She was a nanny for a number of years, worked at Tweets Grocery, the Clock Restaurant and Northern Potato. On June 29, 1948 she was united in marriage to Lawrence Vonasek in Tabor, MN.

She is survived by children, Lyle (Sandy) Vonasek of Grand Forks, ND, Carol (Jeff) Bellmore of Puposky, MN, Vicki (Mark) Boushee of Lake Park, MN, Vonnie (John) Norman of East Grand Forks, MN and Teresa Vonasek of East Grand Forks, MN; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Henrietta West, of Grand Forks, ND. She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, daughter Arletta (Letti), parents, and siblings; Ernest, Walter, Donald, Merece Kotrba, Gladys Gregory, Phyllis Simon, Carmen Nelson and June Corbid.
