David W. Gust, 72, of East Grand Forks, MN died Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Villa St. Vincent Nursing Home, Crookston, MN.

David Gust was born January 12, 1948 in Grand Forks, ND the son and sixth child of Charles and Mary (Kotrba) Gust. He grew up in rural East Grand Forks and attended county school until the 8 ^th grade. He then attended and graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic High School in 1967. He worked in the mail room for the Grand Forks Herald retiring after 40 years of employment in 2008.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Helen Bruley, Donald Gust, Norbert Gust, Mary Vanyo and Martha Carter.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be sent to the Sacred Heart Foundation, Martha Carter Scholarship Fund.

Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, East Grand Forks, MN.

Visitation: 1 hour before services at the church.

Inurnment: Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Tabor, MN in the spring.
