David Schneibel, 67, of East Grand Forks, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Altru Hosptial of Grand Forks.

David William Schneibel was born January 19, 1958 in Grand Forks, ND to George and Wilma (Berglund) Schneibel. He grew up in East Grand Forks and graduated from Senior High. Following high school, Dave went to work on Oil Rigs, Crystal Sugar then at Simplot as a fork lift operator, retiring last fall. In his younger years, Dave enjoyed frisbee golf and mountain biking. He loved fishing, camping, deer hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed scratch-offs and casinos.

Dave's known for his sarcasm and quick wit. His love language was teasing so if he picked on you, you knew he liked you! His favorite response to people asking him how he was doing was "Fat, Old, Crabby."

David is survived by his daughters Amber (John) Roberts and Tammie (Nigel) Adams all of East Grand Forks; brother Paul (Julie) Schneibel of Manvel, ND; sisters Joni (Joe) Riske of East Grand Forks, Christine Schneibel of Pembina, ND and Bertha Burdick (Schneibel) of Idaho Falls, ID; six grandchildren Allyssa Roberts, Cameron Adams, Ayerihanna Johnson, A'nashia Terrazas, Jeremy Buckhalter, Jr., Jedaiah Adams; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Wilman Schneibel and step-son James Hutton

FUNERAL: To honor David's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, May 16, 2025 at Eagle Point Trail Head Park in East Grand Forks, MN.
