Deborah Dorothy
Radi
March 20, 1956 — June 5, 2026
Grand Forks
Deborah "Deby" Dorothy Radi, 70 , passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND, surrounded by the love of her family.
Deby was born on March 20, 1956, in Grand Forks, ND, alongside her twin sister, Denise, to Victor H. and Marilyn M. (Brekken) Radi. Growing up in East Grand Forks, MN, as one of seven children, she was part of a close-knit family filled with love, laughter, and lifelong memories. She graduated from East Grand Forks Senior High School in 1974.
In November 1976, Deby married Robert E. Parker at the East Grand Forks courthouse. Together they welcomed two daughters, Pamela and Patricia, who were the center of her world. Deby worked for Jostens in the administrative office. She was transferred to Clinton, MS. Eventually, life took Deby and her daughters back home to East Grand Forks in 1995.
After returning home, Deby began working through Kelly Temp Services before finding what would become her lifelong career at the University of North Dakota. As an administrative assistant and scheduler for the College of Education and Human Development, she touched countless lives through her dedication, kindness, and steady presence. She retired in May 2025 after 24 years of service.
Deby found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was a talented artist who loved to draw, enjoyed cooking, puzzles, and classic western movies—especially if they featured a handsome cowboy. She delighted in collecting angels, gnomes, and Walt Disney movies. More than anything, she cherished time spent with family. Weekends often meant cooking meals for the week together, sharing stories, and making memories. One of her favorite adventures was cruising through Grand Forks with Trish and Alice, chasing sunsets, singing along to the Oldies, and enjoying wherever the road happened to lead.
Her greatest legacy is the love she shared with those around her. She will be remembered for her warm heart, playful spirit, quick smile, and the countless happy moments she created for family and friends.
Deby is survived by her daughter, Trisha Parker of Grand Forks; her eight beloved grandchildren: Jennifer E. Price, Christopher R. Parker, Joshua H. Ritterman, Airman 1st Class Jacob E. (Castiel) Nasrallah, Kimberly J. Ritterman, Andrew R. Kuhl, and twins Parker E. Kuhl and Alice M. Kuhl, all of Grand Forks; her siblings, Michael Radi of East Grand Forks, Vicki (Jim) Mitzel of Maple Grove, MN, Denise Radi-Bordelon of Grand Forks, Daniel (Correen) Radi of East Grand Forks, Brian (Beth) Radi of East Grand Forks, and Theresa (Michael) Porter of Orlando,FL; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Marilyn Radi, and her beloved daughter, Pamela Parker.
Deby will be laid to rest beside her beloved daughter Pamela at Resurrection Cemetery in East Grand Forks.
Though she is gone from our sight, her laughter, love, and the memories she created will remain with us always.
