Donald Cheshire, 72, of Grand Forks passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Donald Raymond Cheshire was born August 12, 1947 in Glencove, NY the son of Donald and Mary Katherine (Doxey) Cheshire.  Donald grew up and attended school in Glencove, NY.  Following his high school graduation he was a Volunteer Fireman and a Special Forces Police Officer in New York.  On June 30, 1984 he was united in marriage to Luanne Carroll in Grand Forks, ND.  He worked for Target, Coast to Coast, and Cirrus. He most recently worked at Valley Memorial Homes in Grand Forks.

Donald is survived by his wife Luanne of Grand Forks, ND; children, Holly (Ben) Bright and Bethany Cheshire both of Grand Forks, ND; 1 grandchild Jayden Forsberg; siblings, William "Billy" Cheshire, Richard Cheshire, Ruth (Jim Ballard) Cheshire, Nancy "Al" Klobetanz and John Cheshire all of NY and Jean Renaldo of FL, along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Bruce; sister-in-law, Barbara and brother-in-law, John.
