Doris Ann Barker, age 96 of Gardner, ND passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025 at the Sanford Hillsboro Care Center in Hillsboro, ND.

Doris was born on May 28, 1929 in Fargo, ND the daughter of Fred and Gladys (McClanahan) Quittschreiber.  She received her education at Arthur High School.  On August 15, 1947 she married Deane (Ike) Barker and together they spent a lifetime farming in Gardner, ND also with their son Allen.  Her favorite time of the year was harvest.  She loved running the combine.  Doris was a member of the CLUC Church in Gardner, ND.

She is survived by her son, Allen of Gardner, ND; daughter, LuAnn (Pat) McLean of Thompson, ND; sister, Betty Barker of Hunter, ND; sister-in-law, Connie Dullum of Gardner, ND and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Deane and several brothers and sister-in-law.

The family would like to thank the Hillsboro Nursing Home and Hospice for her wonderful care.
