Elaine Helene Gust, age 84, of East Grand Forks, MN, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Valley Eldercare in Grand Forks, ND.

Elaine was born in Walsh County, ND, on December 18, 1933, the daughter of the late Emil and Helen (Johnson) Drevecky.   She was raised on the family farm and her father bought her an airplane in 1949. She was the first North Dakota Flying Farmerette. She married Everett Jasmer, Sr. and they made their home in rural Thief River Falls, MN. She worked for Artic Cat in Thief River Falls and drove semi for North Star Trucking. She married Gerard Gust on July 19, 1979, in East Grand Forks, MN. She then worked for Westward Ho in Grand Forks, ND, and for New Flyer in Crookston, MN. They then settled on a farm in Rural East Grand Forks, MN.  She enjoyed dogs, cats and horses.

Elaine is survived by her children, Everett (Pat) Jasmer, Jr., of Champlain, MN; Laurel Jarshaw of Newfolden, MN; Lynn (Cindy) Jasmer of Alexandria, MN; and Cindy Wright of Grand Forks, ND; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 step-daughters, Juni and Jenelle; and sister, Jean Osel of Grand Forks, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cheryl; step-son, Gerry, 2 son in laws, Dan Kezar and Darryl Jarshaw and 2 grandchildren, Brett and Warren.

Memorial Service :  2:00 pm, Friday June 15, 2018, at Dahl Funeral Home in East Grand Forks, MN.
