Galen Curtis Bushee, 78, of Grand Forks, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 26, 2021, with his wife and daughters by his side, after a long battle with cancer.

Galen Curtis Bushee was born on October 10, 1942 in Crookston, MN the son of Clarence (CJ Bud) and Ava (Townsend) Bushee.

Galen is survived by his wife of 56 years Carol Bushee of Grand Forks, ND; daughters, Sande (Mark) Kerr of Rapid City, SD, Gail (Robert) Clement of Crosby, MN, and Renee (Scott Borden) of Grand Forks, ND; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jan (Lee) Spicer of Oakdale, CA, Julie (Doug) Saari of Lake Elmo, MN and Jim Bushee of Brainerd, MN.

Galen is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rod Bushee and sister-in-law, Paula Bushee.

The family would like to express our deepest gratitude and memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.

A private family service will take place at a later date.
