Gary Lee Danner, 75, of East Grand Forks, MN, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, January 30, 2023 at his home.

Gary was born April 25, 1947 in Lincoln, NE to Gordon and Mildred (Winslow) Danner. As a child, the family moved to Arvilla, ND where Gary grew up and attended school, graduating from Larimore High School. On November 19, 1977 Gary married Bonnie Miller in Arvilla, ND. He farmed there and worked at American Crystal in the winters. Then they moved to East Grand Forks where they made their home and raised their family. He worked in the Public Works Department of the City of East Grand Forks for 24 years before retiring in 2009.

He is survived by his children Daryl Piker of East Grand Forks, DeAnn Piker Long Beach, WA, Dennis (Nisa) Piker of Bismarck, ND, Douglas Piker of St. Peter, MN, and Denise (David) Piker-Gordon of East Grand Forks; brother Gordon (Cindy) Danner of Larimore, ND; sister Sharry (Sam) Kennedy of Arvilla, ND; five Grandchildren; and one Great-Grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Mildred, and his beloved wife Bonnie in 2018.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM, Friday, February 10, 2023 at Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721. Service will be live-streamed on Gary's page at www.dandahlfuneralhome.com

VISITATION: One hour prior to the memorials service at the funeral home on Friday
