Gerald (Jerry) Lee Vonasek, 71, of Grand Forks, ND died Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at his home.

Gerald (Jerry) Vonasek was born December 6, 1947 in Grand Forks, ND the son of John and Evelyn (Bratvold) Vonasek. He grew up in Grand Forks and graduated from Grand Forks Central High School in 1965. He joined the Army National Guard. He married Theresa Raiter in Shevlin, MN on January 3, 1971. He worked for area businesses and was a salesman for Schwann and Tony's Pizza in Butte. Montana. In 2008 he moved to Grand Forks, ND.

He is survived by his children, Jade (Yuka Rose) Vonasek of Yorkville, IL, Tara Kincaid of Great Falls, Montana, 4 grandchildren, Cody, Kelsey, Katie and Cassidy, siblings, Diane Vonasek, LoAnn (Dave) Martin, Marilyn Baessler and John Vonasek, all of Grand Forks and Lynette Vonasek of Apple Valley, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
