Gregor "JR" Useldinger, 87, of East Grand Forks, MN passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Luther Memorial Home, Mayville, ND.

Gregor "JR" John Useldinger was born April 1, 1933 to Gregor Paul and Sophia (Nielson) Useldinger. He grew up and attended school in East Grand Forks before serving our country in the United States Army. On November 18, 1953 be married Betty Ray in Thompson, ND. He drove truck for Old Dutch and farmed in the area his entire life.  In 1987, he received the Frito Lay "Best of the Best Storage Potato Grower" award.  JR and Betty resided in McAllen, TX for many winters where he enjoyed spending time golfing with friends.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Betty Useldinger of Grand Forks; children Debbie (Laurel Harvey) Useldinger of Palm Springs, CA; Guy Useldinger, Kevin (Marlene) Useldinger, DeeDee (Jason Novak) Useldinger all of Grand Forks, ND; Marie (Ed) Redifer of Olympia, WA and daughter-in-law Ravon Useldinger of Grand Forks, ND; brother Robert Useldinger of East Grand Forks, MN; sister Betty Nelson of Vancouver, WA; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Tim Useldinger; sisters, Mary Ann Voigt, Phyllis Kozel and brother, William "Connie" Useldinger.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10 AM, Friday, October 16, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 3 ^rd St. NE, East Grand Forks, MN 56721.
