Rodney Stordahl, 89, of East Grand Forks, passed away Wednesday October 26, 2022 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks.

Hans Rodney Stordahl was born December 4, 1932 in Grand Forks, ND to Hans and Agnes (Frisk) Stordahl. He grew up on the family farm in rural East Grand Forks and attended country school before going to the AC in Crookston. Following high school, he joined the National Guard. On December 15, 1961, he married Gayle Pulkrabek at Mendenhall in East Grand Forks. They made their home on the farm where they lived, worked, and raised their four children. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.

Rodney is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gayle Stordahl; children Karen (Tom) Stordahl-Gregory of Englewoood, CO, Kenley (DyAnn) Stordahl of East Grand Forks, Hans (Patti) Stordahl of East Grand Forks, and Kristi (Shane) Erickson of Erskine; grandchildren Casey (Angela) Erickson of Grand Forks, Cole (Kassandra) Erickson of East Grand Forks, Seth (Sydney)Stordahl of Grand Forks, Sarah (Ryan) Voss of East Grand Forks; great-grandchildren Millie, Dax, and Oliver; brother Rodger (Bobbi) Stordahl; sister Carolyn Stordahl, sister-in-law Denise (Roger) Oppegaard; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hans and Agnes Stordahl, sisters Harriet (Howard) Anderson, Sharon Stordahl, and brother Harvey Stordahl.
