Hubert Anderson, age 94, of Fargo, ND formerly of East Grand Forks, MN passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Edgewood Vista in Fargo, ND.

He was born October 1, 1925 to the late Lawrence and Nora (Danielson) Anderson, and raised in Angus, MN where he farmed and worked in farm insurance. He served in WWII in the US Navy from 1943-1945. He married Marlene Zipoy in 1948 in Angus. In 1977, they moved to East Grand Forks, MN and to Fargo, ND in 2013. They spent many winters in Mesa, AZ.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Marlene; daughters Cathy (Richard) Hanson of Woodbury, MN, Rebecca (Andrew) Braden of Stillwater, MN, Renae (Steven) Troyer of Fargo, ND, Michelle (Blake) Reed of Jamestown, ND; sisters Frances Johnson of Clearwater, KS, Virgina Berg of Lakeville, MN; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

Hubert is preceded in death by his parents and brother Wallace.

Memorials are suggested to Mendenhall Presbyterian Church.

Visitation: 1 hour prior to service at the church

Interment: Greenwood Cemetery in Warren, MN with military honors.
