Ismael Rodriguez, Jr., 26, of Grand Forks, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at his home.

Ismael Rodriguez, Jr. was born January 17, 1995 in Grand Forks, ND, to Maria (Bosquez) and Ismael Rodriguez, Sr. He grew up spending time between Grand Forks and Crystal City, TX. He enjoyed helping install flooring and spending time with his family and gaming.

Survivors include his wife Ashley Nicole Puente Rodriguez of Grand Forks; parents Ismael and Maria Rodriguez, Sr.; brother Israel Rodriquez of Crystal City, TX; sisters Erika Marie (Alvin) Ahoya of Coleen, TX, and Janie (Ryan) Granados of San Antonio, TX; mother-in-law, Linda Puente, In-laws Sandra(Blake) Greiner, Lorenzo Puente, Matt Puente (Hannah Olson), Marcos Puente, Adam Puente (Esmeralda Tellez), Sonia (Jeff) Ostlund, Gina Puente (Oscar Ortiz) and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that will be left to mourn his passing.

Visitation: 5-7 PM Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 200 3 ^rd St. NW, East Grand Forks, MN, 56721, with prayer service at 6:30 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 PM, Friday, October 22, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with visitation 1 hour prior to funeral home at the church. Service will be live-streamed at the Church's website

Interment: Resurrection Cemetery ~ East Grand Forks, MN
