Janis Mack , 88, of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, passed away in Fargo, North Dakota on July 18, 2026.

Janis Susan Greenwood was born on January 30, 1938 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She grew up and attended school in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.

On September 13, 1955, Janis married Donald Mack. Together, they raised four children on their farm. Janis was a hard working woman who ran their household and cared for the family.

In her free time, Janis was usually reading a book or golfing. She also enjoyed following her husband racing throughout the years. Janis was also known to be a fantastic cook, with her fried chicken being everyone's favorite. However, she enjoyed spending her time with the grandkids and great-grandkids the most.

Janis was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mack; parents, Dalton "Sonny" Greenwood and Susan Vandeventer; grandchildren, Jeremy Boman and Cory Mack; and her siblings, Delores, Mary Ann, Marlys, JoRae, and Jimmy.

She is survived by her children, Kathy (Randy) Boman, Pam (Wayne) Stinar, Donald "Sonny" (Jennifer) Mack, and Todd (Melanie) Mack; grandchildren, Travis, Krystal, Nikki, Stacy, Laurie, Adam, Savannah, Mitchell, Casey, and Cale; and her great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 AM, Monday, July 27, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 3rd St NW, East Grand Forks, MN.
