Jeanette M. Filipi, 84, of Tabor, MN, passed away, Monday, January 22, 2024, at Valley Senior Living.

Jeanette Marie Love was born April 12, 1939 in Grand Forks, ND, to William and Alvia (Allen) Love. She grew up in Key West and attended school in Fisher until eighth grade. She graduated from the AC in Crookston in 1957. On July 30, 1957, Jeanette married Tony Filipi at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Tabor where they are still members today. They made their home in Tabor and were blessed with five daughters. Jeanette worked in the Bakery at EGF Hugos for 15 years. Her true labor of love was taking care of her home and family. She was known as an amazing gardener and cook, grinding her own flour to make her homemade buns and famous pickles.

She is survived by her husband Tony Filipi of Tabor; daughters Sheila Stevenson of East Grand Forks, Laura Driscoll (Robert Barnes) of McIntosh, Lisa (Henry) Zepeda of Crookston, Carla (Brad) Driscoll of East Grand Forks, and Jana (Greg) Sherry of Euclid; brother Allen (Lorraine) Love of East Grand Forks; sister Marlys (Glen) Finkenbinder of Crookston; 14 Grandchildren Chad Stevenson (Matt Buckley), Shane (Brittany) Stevenson, Brady (Tara) Stevenson, Sonny (Lisa) Driscoll, Kaleb (Brandi) Driscoll, Zachary (Krystal) Driscoll, Jennifer Zepeda (Lionel Luna), Brittany Zepeda, Kristen (Aaron) Hartung, Molly (Will) McLoughin, Bethany Driscoll, Kayla (Alan) Altepeter, Savannah (Kyle) Prodzinski, and Alex (Kelsey) Sherry; and 26 Great-Grandchildren Hadlee, Briggs, Wyatt, Jovee, Jaden, Kylan, Lawson, Isla, Emrie, Makya, Evelyn, Maverick, Amaya, Jose, Daniel, Annalisa, Michael, Alejandro, Nora, Baby Girl, Aaron, Broderick, Lexington, Odin, Connor, and Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Alvia Love; son-in-law Tim Stevenson, great-granddaughter Josie Luna, sister-in-law Norma Helm, and nephew Adam Corwin.

VISITATION: 5:00-6:30 PM on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721 with a PRAYER SERVICE to follow at 6:30 also at the funeral home.
