Jeanine "Jeannie" Kary, 83, of East Grand Forks, MN died Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at the Woodside Village, Grand Forks, ND.

Jeannie Kary was born June 3, 1936 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Louis and Amanda (Ness) Buckner. She grew up in East Grand Forks and graduated from East Grand Forks Senior High School in 1954. She married Ron Van Camp in December later that year. She volunteered for the East Grand Forks Senior Center and Grand Forks Mission. She married Matt Kary.

She is survived by children, Leah (Jeff) Byzewski, Jeff Van Camp and Scott (Mary) Van Camp, all of Grand Forks, Lou Ann Young of East Grand Forks, MN and Vicki (Scott) Ripplinger of Manvel, ND, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 brother Mark (Jocelyn) Buckner of Conway, SC. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Matt Kary, grandson Manny Hernandez Jr. and sister Delores "Dody" Absey.
