Obituary

Jeffrey D. Aamodt, 52, of Grand Forks, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 11, 2021 at his home.

Jeffrey David Aamodt was born December 16, 1968 to James and Carol (Ostlund) Aamodt in Grand Forks.  He grew up and was educated in Grand Forks. He worked as the best fryer at the Donut Hole in Grand Forks. He was blessed with a daughter Jenna and on May 15, 1999 he was united in marriage to Angi and they were blessed with a son Blake.

Jeff most recently worked (until Covid started) at Triangle Bus Service. He loved taking bus trips and his passengers loved him and many organizations requested him. He was an avid Sioux fan especially football and hockey which led to several bus trips. He developed a love for the Chicago Cubs after driving a bus trip to a game. He was meticulous in his organizational skills and had a major interest in the Edmund Fitzgerald. He also enjoyed Shinedown, old movies, and The Three Stooges. One of the things he will be missed most for was his marvelous sense of humor.

Family left behind to mourn his passing are his children Jenna Duncan of East Grand Forks and Blake Aamodt and his mother Angi of Grand Forks; parents Jim and Carol Aamodt of Grand Forks; sister Kristi McDonald of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren Tanner, Kynlee, and Jaxon Duncan; nephews Tim and Layne McDonald; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, including the Milling Clan.

He was preceded in death by an infant son Junior and his grandparents on both sides of the family, and several aunts and uncles.
