Jerry Edward Anderson, 79, of East Grand Forks, MN died Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.

Jerry Anderson was born December 28, 1946 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Nels and Burnita (Simmons) Anderson.  He worked in various jobs which included cooking at the Dacotah Hotel and Eddies Café and worked also in construction with Ernie Kasprick.  He married Pam Ness on July 6, 1984 in Warren, MN.  Jerry enjoyed his time at Union Lake Camping, fishing and hanging out with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Pam of East Grand Forks, MN, daughter Katy (Randy) Storey of East Grand Forks, grandchildren, Kacey (Jake Nelson) Sullivan, Aaron (Kayla) Sullivan, Cooper and Aynslie Storey Brennan and Ananda Anderson, great grand children, Ryker and Jennifer Nelson, Quinn and Senna Sullivan, Lucas Anderson, sisters, Lola (Chuck) Thrane of Fosston, MN, Patty Anderson of Grand Forks, Judy (Jim) McIssac of Ashville, NC, brother in laws Dan (Dawn) Ness of West Fargo, ND, John (Kim) Ness of Devils Lake, ND, sister in laws Rosanna Anderson of Fargo, ND, Cheryl Cicha of Fargo, ND and Laurie Ness of Grand Forks, ND, and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his daughter Jenny Sullivan, son Lawrence Anderson, brothers, Kenny and Bob Anderson, his parents, brother-in-law Mike Ness and parents in law Francis and Dorothy Ness.

SERVICE: Per Jerry's request no services will be held.  A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
