John Sherette , 77, of Phoenix, Arizona died on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at his home.

John Michael Sherette was born on October 20, 1948 in Grand Forks, North Dakota, the son of Joseph and Bella (Anderson) Sherette. He grew up in East Grand Forks, Minnesota, and attended East Grand Forks Senior High School.  He served his country in the US Army from May of 1968 to December of 1969. John then moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he has resided since 1972.

John is survived by his brother, Leon Sherette of Phoenix, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jospeh and Bella; sister, Gwen; and brother, Allan.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL is 11:30 AM on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 3rd Street NW, East Grand Forks, Minnesota, with VISITATION 1 hour prior. INTERMENT at Calvary Cemetery North in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
