Jose Ochoa, age 67 of East Grand Forks, MN passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Villa St. Vincent in Crookston, MN.

Jose Villarreal Ochoa was born on April 22, 1954 in Hampton, IA the son of Jose and Paula (Ballejo) Ochoa.  Jose grew up in Crystal City, TX and then moved to Thompson, ND.  He was a farm laborer for Terry Amble and Larry Holien Farms for 26 years.  He was married to Bertha Dehoyos and Oliva Rios.

Family members who survive Jose include his children, Jose (Monica) Ochoa of Grand Forks, ND, Aaron (Carri) Ochoa of St. Paul, MN, Andrew (Sara) Ochoa of St. Paul, MN Yvette Ramirez of Crystal City, TX and Priscilla Ann Ochoa of Crystal City, TX; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Flora Sanmiguel of Heifer, TX, Aurelio (Ella) Ochoa of North Platte, NE, Gloria Pesina of Brownwood, TX, Yolanda Garza of Carrizo Springs, TX, Josefa Castro of Crystal City, TX, Estella Irish of North Platte, NE and Rita Rodriquez of La Pryor, TX.

Jose is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Fransico Ochoa and sisters, Marianita and Paula, and companion Carol Olson.

Memorial Service: 2:30 PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN

Visitation: 1 Hour Prior Memorial Service on Tuesday in Dahl Funeral Home.
