Kenneth Allen Brustad, 82 , of Grand Forks, ND passed away on March 20, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

Kenneth was born on June 7, 1943 in Crookston, Minnesota to Alex and Florence Brustad. He was raised and attended high school in Mentor, Minnesota.

Kenneth worked at American Crystal Sugar in East Grand Forks, Minnesota for many years. He married the love of his life, Juanita, on August 11, 1990. They made their home in Grand Forks, North Dakota. They enjoyed grilling out, playing horseshoes, and traveling when possible. One of his favorite things to do was taking his grandkids for a bike ride, towing them in a little buggy. He also loved spending time on the farm where he grew up.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Juanita; daughter Lucy Gladue (Shane); sons Kenneth Brustad Jr. and Daniel Brustad; sisters Marylin Roy, Luanne McGlena, Sylvia Jankila (John); grandsons Trey Hollingshead (Hanah), Nathan Dirckx (Jenna), Carter Mathson, Ethan Mathson; and great-grandchild Rosella.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Summer. Details will be available at a later date.
