Kevin Matthew
Lee
May 14, 1993 — August 4, 2018
Kevin Matthew Lee, age 25, passed away in the early morning of August 4, 2018 in Rochester, MN, due to complications of pneumonia.
Kevin was cancer free after his stem cell transplant on June 8, 2018; he won that battle thanks to the help of his brother/donor, Kenneth.
Kevin was born May 14, 1993 in Omaha, NE to Theresa Lee. Kevin, his mom, and siblings moved back to Grand Forks, ND in 1998 where his extended family resided. He was a 2012 graduate of Community High School and was very proud of this accomplishment. Kevin enjoyed spending a lot of his time with family, especially his three beautiful children. Family was a huge part of Kevin's life. He adored his niece and nephews and always enjoyed his time with them. He also enjoyed watching and playing many sports; his favorite being football. He was a diehard Denver Bronco's fan and also played one season with the Tri City Northstars (semi-pro) before becoming a dad. His other interests included grilling, gaming with family and friends and road trips.
Kevin is survived by his three children, Ryker, Zane and BrayLynn; his mother, Theresa Lee (Jack Teigen) of Grand Forks, ND; sister, Kristina Lee and brother Kenneth (Jordin) Martinez of Grand Forks, ND; three nephews and one niece; his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kevin is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lavern and Karen Lee along with numerous great aunts and uncles.
The family has asked everyone that owns a "Kevin's Fight Club" t-shirt to wear it for the reception following the service.
