Larry Rader, 70, of Pekin, North Dakota passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks.

Larry Laroy Rader was born March 26, 1950 in Devils Lake, ND to the late Lloyd and Mamie (Winnegge) Rader. He grew up there and graduated from Devils Lake High School in 1968 and from Lake Region College in 1970. On June 19, 1971 he married Pauline Peterson in Devils Lake, ND.

Larry worked for the ND State Highway Department his entire career retiring in 2005. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling. He also raised cattle, pigs, and hay.

Survivors include his loving wife of almost 50 years, Pauline Rader of Pekin, ND; sons Chris Rader (Beth Nelson) of Underwood, MN and Loren Rader (Kim Badger) of Casselton, ND; sisters Lola (Dale) Knutson and Linda Jenson; brothers Lyle Rader and Lowell (Julie) Rader; and 5 grandchildren, Madison, Cody, Kailey, Alex, and Jase Rader.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Jeremy Rader, and brother Leeland Rader.

Memorial Service: 2:30 PM, Friday, October 2, 2020 at Sheyenne Lutheran Church, 10651 23 ^rd St. NE, Pekin, ND 58361.

Visitation: 1 hour prior to service at the church

Burial: Sheyenne Lutheran Church Cemetery immediately following the service.
