Lois A. Filipi, age 68 of Grand Forks, ND passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Valley Senior Living Transitional Unit.

Lois A. Filipi was born on January 28, 1957 in Crookston, MN the daughter of Elmer and Henrietta (Kliner) Filipi.  Lois lived in the Angus, MN area and also Grand Forks, ND her entire life.  Lois attended school in East Grand Forks, MN and graduated from East Grand Forks Senior High School with the Class of 1975.  She was a Registered Nurse at Altru Health Systems for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Norma Helm; nephew, Adam Corwin and sister-in-law, Jeanette Filipi.

Lois is survived by siblings, Anton Filipi of Grand Forks, ND, Yvonne (LeRoy) Vonasek of Warren, MN, Jane (Pat) Novak of Mounds View, MN, Aldon (Janice) Filipi of Warren, MN, Lana (Gary) Corwin of Circle Pines, MN and Lance (Kevin) Filipi of Outing, MN; brother-in-law, Dennis Helm of Newfolden, MN; along with many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Valley Senior Living for the wonderful care they gave to Lois.

Memorials are preferred to a Humane Society of your choice.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM on Monday, September 15, 2025 at Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN.

Visitation: One Hour Prior to Memorial Service in Dahl Funeral Home.

Inurnment: Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Tabor, MN.
