Lorraine J. Brittian, age 90, of Morganton, NC, passed away, Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Burke Long Term Care.

Lorraine Julianna Swatlowski was born September 1, 1933 in Ardoch Township, Walsh Co., ND to Steve and Mary (Korynta) Swatlowski. They grew up on the family farm and attended country school. Lorraine married Everett Eugene Brittian in Charlotte, NC. They made their home many places as Everett served in the Air Force and were blessed with three sons, Steve, Mark and Tim. Lorraine's passion was dancing. Later in life she was a food demonstrator.

She is survived by her sons Steve Brittian of Aztec, NM, Mark Brittian of Pinehurst, NC, and Tim (Renee) Brittian of Nebo, NC; brothers Richard Swatlowski and Harold (Mildred) Swatlowski all of Grand Forks; grandchildren Taylor and Connor Brittian, Emmaline Buckman and Rosa Lee Shaver; great-grandchildren Carter Shaver, Rowan, Ryan, Kameryn, Camden, and Salem Buckman; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Steve and Mary Swatlowski, brothers Duane and Ernest Swatlowski, and sisters Dorothy Grandboise, Delphine Heath and Irene Nelson.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721.

VISITATION: One hour prior to funeral on Wednesday also at Dahl Funeral Home

INTERMENT: St. John The Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Ardoch, ND immediately following the funeral.
