Lucille M. Qualley, 95, of Grand Forks, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 surrounded by her family, at Woodside Village of Valley Senior Living on 42 ^nd , Grand Forks.

Lucille Marie Fodness was born June 16, 1926 in Stephen, MN to the late Carl Joseph and Agnes Jane (McFarland) Fodness.  She grew up and graduated from Stephen High School with the class of 1945. Lucille then went to work at a dental office in Warren, MN. On March 27, 1948, she married Alfred Qualley in Warren, MN. They made their home in East Grand Forks and were blessed with 4 children.

Lucille was a nurse and cared for many patients as a CNA for 27 years at Deaconess and United Hospital in Grand Forks, and then at Tufte Manor for another 15 years. She later worked as a home healthcare aid and volunteered as a foster grandparent. She was an active member of Sharon Lutheran Church where she donated her time in many ways.

Survivors include her four children, Stuart (Pam) Qualley of Grand Forks, Nancy Olson of Hillsboro, Jerry (Kathy) Qualley of East Grand Forks, and Steven (Cindy) Qualley of Grand Forks; 10 grandchildren, Teresa (Clarence) Aschenbrener, Bryan (Ann) Qualley, Jessica Qualley, Shawn Qualley, Charles (Angie) Olson, Crystal (Tom) Ellis, Rachel Qualley, Sara Qualley, Jeremy Qualley, and Riley Qualley; 9 great-grandchilden; brother Robert (Mary Ann) Fodness of Minneapolis; sister Betty Laurin of Argyle, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Qualley, parents Carl and Agnes Fodness, sisters Doris Hector and Elvera Sundby, and brothers Charles and Lloyd Fodness

FUNERAL: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Sharon Lutheran Church, 1720 S. 20 ^th St. Grand Forks, ND 58201.

VISITATION: 1 hour prior to funeral at the church on Wednesday

BURIAL: Private graveside service at Memorial Park South Cemetery at a later time.
