Lynne Kay Powers was born August 2, 1962, to Thomas and Marlene (Kennedy) Powers.  She was the baby of the family. Lynne passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, May 22, 2022.  She graduated from EGF Senior High class of 1980 and went on to receive a bookkeeping degree at the AVTI. She started a career with Pepsi in GF where she met and created life long friends. The past 15 years she worked at Altru, where she also built a work family.

Lynne is survived by her sister, Lori (Ed) , brothers, Tom (Lori), Jon. and Jim (Kim), her niece, Kami Bushy, nephews Craig (Amy), Jeff, Mark, and Scott Powers, great nieces, Taylor and Haylie, great nephews, Cole and Carter and one great-great niece, Norah.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dan and sister Debbie.

A celebration of Lynne's life will be held at the VFW in EGF, on Sunday, June 5 from 1-3pm.  No memorials are preferred. Just bring your memories.
