Michael E. Grembowski, age 90 of East Grand Forks, MN passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Michael "Mike" Ernest Grembowski was born on August 7, 1930 in Grafton, ND the son of Mike and Minnie (Gornowicz) Grembowski.  Mike grew up on the family farm 4 miles north of Warsaw, ND.

On June 30, 1953 he was united in marriage to Cecelia Pietruszewski at Assumption Catholic Church in Florian, MN and spent much of their married life on the farm, raising crops and hogs.  In the off season, he worked at American Crystal Sugar Company in Drayton ND.  But the hardest work was raising 8 children!  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, square dancing, playing cards, and just visiting with everyone!  In 1985 they decided to give up farming and move to the Bemidji, MN area.  They lived on Lake Movil where they owned and managed a trailer park, but had time for fishing and spent many fun weekends with children and grandchildren.  In 1999 they moved to their new home in East Grand Forks, MN and then to Good Samaritan Society in 2019 where they've been members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Family members who survive Mike include his wife Cecelia of East Gand Forks, MN; children, Barbara Wheeling of Greenwood, SC; Yvonne (Roger) Feltman of Warsaw, ND; Timothy (Brenda) Grembowski of Gainesville, VA; Julie Callahan of Mesa, AZ; Alice (John) Robin of Arcadia, OK; Karen (Terry) Naas of Grand Forks, ND; Janice (Dan) Olson of Hastings, MN and Lisa (Brian) Hanson of Centerville, MN.  Grandchildren, Tony, Bryan, Kayla, Jessica, Dawn, Derik, Megan, Ryan, Kerry, Jason, Sarah, Nikki, John, Ashley and Steven.  Great-grandchildren, Crewen, Duncan, Sullivan, Grifinn, Braelyn, Easton, Taiyanna, Nolan, Avery, and Drew.  One brother-in-law, Hilary Pietruszewski and two sisters-in-law, Irene Rud and Aurelia Kujawa.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Emil and Julian; 5 sisters, Lucille, Loretta, Crispine, Minnie, and Saraphine.
