Michelle Lee Jesperson, 68, of East Grand Forks, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Michelle was born May 2, 1951 in Minot, ND to the late Vernon and Beulah (Bradshaw) Johnston. She grew up in Crystal, ND and graduated from Valley High School in Crystal, ND in 1969 and then graduated from Josef's School of Hair Design in Minot, ND in 1970. She married Dennis "Jesse" Jesperson March 17, 1987 in Crookston, MN. Michelle worked in housekeeping at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND for 34 years retiring in 2018.

Survivors include her son Dustin Fladland of East Grand Forks, MN; step-daughter Denise Morgan of Wisconsin; step-granddaughter Oliva Dudek of Wisconsin; sister Kathy (Jim) Foltz of Minot, ND; brother-in-law Rocky Jesperson of Plummer, MN; sister-in-law, Joyce Johnston of Cavalier, ND, Jim and Gloria Jesperson of Minneapolis, MN; nephews, Scott (Rochelle) and Ryan Foltz of Minot, ND, Todd Johnston of Cavalier, ND, Justin Johnston of Belle Planes, MN; nieces, Connie Hannenberg of Fargo, ND, and Jennifer Johnston of Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Beulah Johnston; husband, Dennis Jesperson on August 27, 2009 and a brother Jim Johnston.

Memorial Service: 2 PM Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN

Visitation: 1 Hour Prior to Memorial Service in Dahl Funeral Home
