Nancy Carrillo Landa, age 94 of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, died at home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

Nancy Carrillo was born on April 19, 1929 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Manuel & Julia (Obregon) Carrillo. She grew up and attended schools in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Nancy worked at numerous farms and also cleaned homes for families in the area. She eventually moved to East Grand Forks. On February 14, 1957, Nancy was united in marriage to Cletus L. Landa in Crookston, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel & Julia Carrillo; husband, Cletus Landa, Sr.; son, Thomas Carrillo; grandson, Chris Landa; brother-in-law, Leighton Landa; special friend, Jerry Ergeson; and siblings, Marilyn, Gloria, Josephine, Louie, Manuel and Paul.

Nancy is survived by her children, Alice (Milan) Wiertzema of Rochester, MN, Patty (Terry) Rogers of Grand Forks, Cletus (Barb) Landa, Jr. of East Grand Forks, and Allen and of East Grand Forks; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Connie and Vincent.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL:  11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 3rd Street NW, East Grand Forks, MN.

VISITATION: 1 hour prior to services at the church.
