Nancy Lee Sherette, 66, of East Grand Forks, MN, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at her home with her family by her side.

Nancy was born in Grand Forks, ND, on November 27, 1951, to the late Ingvald and Marjorie (Tiedeman) Dronen.  She was raised in East Grand Forks, MN, and graduated from East Grand Forks Senior High School.  Afterwards, she went to Jack's Hairstyling School.  She married Kenneth Anderson on February 7, 1970.  During her career she worked as a cook and managed several restaurants in the area.  On July 23, 1987, she was married to Robert Hanson.  She worked for Digikey from 2007 to her retirement in 2014.  In her spare time she liked going to the casino, bingo, baking, and watching her grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her children, Lisa (Mike Willis) Anderson of Grand Forks, ND, and Chris (Nicole) Hanson of Thief River Falls, MN; grandchildren, John and Nathaniel Powers and Landon Hanson, all of Thief River Falls, MN; and sisters, MaryJo Carey of Grafton, ND, Cheryl (Harold) Peugh of Forest River, MN, and Lori Dronen of East Grand Forks, MN; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Skinner.
