Odin Arnold Sorteberg, age 90, of East Grand Forks, MN, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Riverview Nursing Home in Crookston, MN.

Odin was born on January 2, 1929, the son of the late Theodore and Olivia (Littlebe) Sorteberg.  He was raised and attended school in Roseau, MN.  Afterwards, he moved to Gilby, ND, where he worked for Dixon Farms.  He enlisted in the US Army from 1951 to 1953 and served honorably during the Korean War.  On February 6, 1952 he was married to Dorothy Jean Johnson.  They made their home in East Grand Forks, MN.  After his discharge from the military he worked as a farm laborer, drove truck for Dan Dugan Trucking Company for many years and then for CHS for 5 years before his retirement in 1991.

Odin is survived by his sons, Allan Adamski and Glen Sorteberg, both of East Grand Forks, MN; significant other, Beatrice Hahn of East Grand Forks, MN; and sisters, Doris Bryant of Alabama and Romana (Chet) Berlin of Washington.  He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials are preferred.

Memorial Service :  5:00 pm on Friday, February 22, 2019, at Dahl Funeral Home in East Grand Forks, MN.

Visitation: One Hour Before Services at the funeral home.

Inurnment: Badger, MN, at a later date.
