Patricia Ann
Lindgren
July 17, 1942 — August 19, 2023
East Grand Forks
Patricia Ann Lindgren, 81, was born on July 17, 1942 in Grand Forks, ND, to William and Angela (Deziel) Holweger. She was raised up on EAGLES WINGS on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, surrounded by her loving family.
Pat's faith was strong. She valued family, friends, her home and spreading God's love to those around her. She married her "rock", Kenneth on Nov 4, 1961 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, East Grand Forks, MN. He was the love of her life. Pat was very proud of the life they built together and the four daughters they raised. She attended Joseph's School of Hair Design to become a stylist. She gave thousands of haircuts and perms in their kitchen. She served lunch at Crestwood and South Point Elementary Schools for 28 years. Her hobbies brought her great joy. She always had multiple crocheting/knitting projects going. "Happy Hooker" described her to a T. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Women's Ministry, Threads of Love, sang in the church/funeral choir and served lunches for funerals. She made hats, blankets and prayer shawls for the cancer center, pregnancy center and hospital NICU. Pat and Kenny were awarded the Lumen Christi award on October 15, 2022 for their outstanding service to the church.
She is survived by Kenneth, her loving husband of 61+ years; 4 daughters, Cynthia Koth, West Fargo, ND, Maria Hill, Grand Forks, ND, Rebecca (Kevin) Johnk, Moorhead, MN and Melissa (Justin) Bartak, Stillwater, MN; 3 grandsons, Jordan (Jessica) Bartak, Bemidji, MN, Derek (Sierra) Johnk, Hawley, MN and Dylan Johnk, Moorhead, MN; two great grandchildren, Remi Johnk and Noah Bartak; sister-in-law, Sharon Holweger; 3 nephews, William, Jesse and Troy Holweger; and niece, Jayne Landsiedel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Judy (Donovan) Keiser, her brother Gerald Holweger, stepmother Emma Holweger, half brother Todd Holweger, son-in-law Jeffrey Koth, and many aunts and uncles.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sacred Heart Women's Ministry.
