Peggy Jo Lee, age 58 of East Grand Forks, MN, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Peggy Jo Lee was born on July 25, 1963 in Crookston, MN the daughter of Kenneth and June (Whisler) Lee.  Peggy grew up and attended school in East Gand Forks, MN.

Peggy enjoyed her perennial gardens and was always willing to help anyone in the neighborhood with their flowers or yard work.  She always kept busy.

Peggy kept up with the happenings at The Wildcat Sanctuary in Sandstone, MN and

loved watching the videos of the big cats there.

There was never a time in Peggy's adult life where she didn't have her own house cat.  Throughout her life, Peggy enjoyed going to auctions & to thrift stores, where she always had an eye for antique glassware.  Peggy was a member of many online antique glassware sites.  Peggy also volunteered her time at a Grand Forks Thrift Store for a number of years.  She enjoyed having numerous garage sales and looked forward to the Alerus Sale every year.

She was a friend to many in the neighborhood.

Peggy bravely fought & conquered colon cancer. After surgery she traveled to Fargo weekly for radiation for a year and bravely fought Diabetes from a young age.

Family members who survive Peggy include her brothers, Mark (Lori) Lee of Snohomish, WA and Clayton (Kaylynn) Lee of Olathe, KS; nieces and nephews, Kenny (Kendall) Lee, Arik Lee, Bethany Lee, Caleb Lee; cousin, Debbie Sauskojus and close friend, LaRae Miller along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN
