Richard “Rick” Hill, 70, of East Grand Forks, MN died Thursday, September 3, 2026 at HIA Heathers House in Fargo, ND.

Richard Hill was born January 8, 1956 in Warren, MN, the son of Raymond and Delores (Hennebry) Hill. He grew up in Warren and attended Warren High School. Rick moved to Alaska for a brief period, and then back to East Grand Forks where he worked for American Crystal Sugar Company for 30 years. Rick married Julie McNeese in East Grand Fork on August 13, 2005. Following his retirement he drove for Dennies Delivery.

Rick is survived by his wife, Julie of East Grand Forks, MN; children, Michael Hill of Ada, MN and Tyler (Linda) Hill of Alexandria, MN; step-children, Randi McNeese of Valley City, ND and Wyatt (Jen) Meyer of Mesquite, NV; best friend, David Peyton of Warren, MN; grandchildren, Evan (Lindsey), Justice (Jace), Brady, Caleb, Willow, Jemma, Journee, Payton, Aiden and Wyvren; great-grandchild, Lainey; and sister, Rosemary Hill, of Minneapolis, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Torri Knutson; brothers, Ross and Randy; and 2 dogs, Napoleon and Precious.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2:00pm on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026 at Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks.

VISITATION: One hour prior to the service.
