Roland "Jess" Fisher age 73 of East Grand Forks, MN, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Villa St. Vincent in Crookston, MN.

Jess was born on February 4, 1947 at Northwood, ND the son of Roland N. and B. Louise (Newman) Fisher. Jess was raised in rural Grand Forks County and attended Larimore Public Schools. Jess was in the Army and served during the Vietnam War. He married Nancy Christofferson.

Jess is survived by his daughter Jenni (Tony) Adams; two grandsons, Archie and Rhett all of Marion, IA; sisters, Beverly Marien of International Falls, MN, Rena Thurman of San Diego, CA, Judith Metcalf of Mesa, AZ and Janet Nissen of Grand Forks, ND; sister-in-law, Betty Fisher of Northwood, ND. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Emmett Fisher; sister Dorothy Fisher Fugleberg; 5 brothers-in-law; one niece and two nephews.
